Gadot Belgium reports strong CO₂ reduction progress
As part of our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Gadot Belgium has achieved a 55% reduction in scope 1 and 2 CO₂ emissions in 2024 compared to our 2020 baseline. This puts us well ahead of our target to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030.
Key drivers of this reduction include:
A significant drop in natural gas use, thanks to switching to green steam from a biomass plant.
Increased on-site renewable energy production via wind turbine.
Continued electrification of our vehicle fleet.
